During the year, particularly during Lent and Advent, there is the opportunity to study, reflect and discuss a variety of spiritual readings.
Bible Course – Lent 2020: “The Big Picture: You, the Bible & God’s Big Plan”. Produced by Catholic Faith Exploration (CaFE) and the Bible Society, this course aims to help people find their place in the big picture of salvation history. Each participant has a book and DVD which have 12 sessions covering the whole of salvation history. Each session invites us to watch a short introductory video and then gives guidance for Bible reading and reflection for the week that follows. The next session begins with sharing about the insights and discoveries from that week and then watch the next video. There will be 6 sessions during Lent (Wednesdays 7pm, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8) and 6 sessions during Easter (provisionally Wednesdays April 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, Thursday May 28). Venue: St Kentigern’s Parish Room.
Note: The bible study course has had to be postponed meantime due to COVID-19.
