Sacramental Preparation for Children

cic logo

Sacrament of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion: Children of Primary 3 and 4 are prepared for reception into the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation. This is done in collaboration with home, school and Parish. A planned cycle of rites takes place in the churches throughout the year over a 2 year period,   usually starting before Advent and, at which all children and their parents/guardians are expected to attend.  Enrolment for the Sacraments usually takes place after the children return to school in August.

St John the Baptist – Preparation classes take place on a Saturday morning 9.30am-10.15am in the Parish Hall in School Term time.

St Kentigern’s – Preparation classes take place in the Parish Room on a Sunday morning during 9.30am Mass.
